Open Air
Cutlery

In 2002, Maarten Baptist completed his studies at the Design Academy Eindhoven with seven different cutlery ranges inspired by the personalities of seven of his friends. One of these was a particularly arresting design: Open Air.

By playing with the contours of classic tableware, Baptist introduced an element of surprise to a purely functional product. These knives, forks and spoons are feather-light and fit comfortably into the hand.
